I tuned into James today to find out what he wanted to share for this Weekly Wisdom With James. Absorbed in my own story, there hadn’t been any natural space in my field for his wisdom to filter in. Usually I feel James flow in and out of my energy easily and I can tap into his field and his wisdom anytime. But, not the last few days with all that I had going on. So, I sat down on my couch and created the energetic space for me to receive him. I pulled up a headshot of him on my phone, looked into his eyes (my favorite way to connect telepathically with an animal), and tuned in to James just as if I was doing an animal communication and healing session for a client’s pet.
James immediately came forward: “I’m curious what we are going to do together next.” I realize he knows (of course he knows!) that I had made the heartbreaking decision to not trot and canter and gallop him anymore. He was curious about the next phase of our relationship. “What do you want to do?” I ask. “Graze together.” Resistant to this inevitable change, I say “I don’t graze.” He patiently replies: “Sit with me. I love my time with the herd, and I love my time with you.” He then shows me riding him at a walk near sunset. Peaceful. Just the two of us. “We can still be together,” he says sweetly. “There are lots of ways for us to be together.” We converse some more, and he admits his body isn’t quite right and he’s hid it well. He holds space for me while I cry. With more affection than this stoic gentleman usually demonstrates, James says: “Oh my Darling. You hold on too tight. All of you humans do.”
