No Small Feat

It is 5am. Enjoying the quiet, I check in with James to hear what he has to share this morning:

"I'm doing quite alright. Thank you for taking care of me. Taking care of everyone in your life is a full-time job. I know and respect that. It's like how trees take care of each other. Especially the aspens and the redwoods. The aspen roots underground are like a village, and it is no coincidence that the redwoods grow in circles. It is magical, but intentional.

"I invite everyone who comes across my message to honor and respect all that you do for others, your family, your kin. It is no small feat. It should be honored. And, don't forget yourself. We get so animated in our self care. Yes, exercise is very good. My mom makes sure I get mine. But, quiet solo soul time is very vital, too. Sweet soul time. Just you and your soul. Sit with a hot tea or coffee and do absolutely nothing. Connect to the deep layers inside. Go way down into your heart and soul like the roots of a tree go down. There is a soul sustenance there and it will feed you better than any carrot can. And, I do love carrots.

"Be well. And, as you wish wellness onto others, wish it for yourself with love. Like your kindness toward others, be kind to yourself."

Love, James
